Thank you Noirin. I'm glad you're coming round to sympathising with Deb now. Delighted too that you're enjoying the novel so much you want to binge-read!
Deb's explosion of tears at getting Rose's letter woke me up to how vulnerable she is, how deeply her confidence has been shattered. Though I was furious with her when we first learned that she had run away, I'm now beginning to understand how traumatic it was to learn she didn't know her own father. I haven't had to learn anything like that and none of my friends either, so I wasn't ready to have any sympathy for Deb. But slowly I'm coming around.
I've been away for past couple of fridays so mised my Friday date with Deb, today I have the luxury of a binge cathch-up!
'Draw a portrait of me and send that to prove you are really you.'
Do you have a table of contents somewhere that puts all of these epistolary sections in the proper order? I couldn't find it, but I may have missed something.

Thanks Chris. I don't have a ToC but it's a good idea - so I'll put one together over the next week or so. Thank you for the suggestion.
Oh good - it'll be coming soon!
Can't wait for the next episode...
