I've read them all but went back to the beginning to see could I figure it out! The history book clue suggests Deb hadn't planned running away and her disappearance was a spur of the moment decision - maybe Lucy's messiness makes her feel like an outsider in the family ... ??? Its all very intruiging!
Wonderful story, horrid situation, happens too often, its good to have this way to start to understand how the families might e feeling. I'm captivated but can't find any episode preceding this one. Is there one?
This is fantastic. I am already hooked into this stifling world of guilt, unease and self recrimination. Every tiny aspect of the days before the disappearance are put under merciless scrutiny by a very observant writer.
Miss Marple here noting that she didn't forget her history book!
Aha! Interesting catch - which chapter are you reading?
