I'm beginning to suspect Deb was illegitimate and 'Dad' was disowned by his family for marrying her mum and Deb became mentally disturbed by being the centre of this family secret??? Don't tell me if I'm right or wrong, I prefer the suspense!

I agree, every time I get an inkling of an idea about what might be going on something happens to make me think that it’s something else!
I’m glad the updates are every week now, so the suspense isn’t held for quite as long and we get to see what happens next 🙂

Wise observation. I think her resilience is partly due to her determination to find Deb.
Phew - a shock for Lucy. Its like she's losing her sister at a deeper level now. Good thing she seems pretty resiliant.
