Thanks Catherine for this encouraging endorsement. So true about figures like Einstein of whom we often see only one side. His views deserve to be more widely known.

I chanced on the poem in an anthology and couldn't believe my luck. It's so good and so apt. I'm eager now to read more of her work.

Do spread the word about What's the Story?!

Much to think about in this latest despatch. Knowing virtually nothing about Einstein, apart from the obvious, I was amazed by his views, his candour, his conscience and his clarity in expressing what is actually of importance to him. It is so easy to make assumptions about iconic figures and so gratifying to be proved completely wrong.

The poem is so clever. It needs many rereads as does Einstein.

Your writing should be reaching a huge audience.

The poem is a little like a puzzle to be unlocked . . . Interesting about the scientists' conscience. It must be quite scary to realise that your discovery can be used to unleash destructive forces.

Excellent poem. Quite thought provoking. Einstein's essay was surprising too. Seems like a lot of the scientists of the time,as today, were quite concerned about the application or misapplication of their work.
